Job Description:

Gartner Creative Marketing Solutions is a dynamic, energetic, in-house creative team within a global organization that has grown by double digits for 23 consecutive quarters. We're seeking an experienced B2B writer who can help fuel this growth by producing creative, compelling copy that drives our target audiences to action and helps our sales teams sell.

About the role:

* Tell a persuasive story. Concept, develop and adapt compelling copy for a wide range of deliverables — video scripts, Web copy, digital campaigns, social media, print, ads, signage and more
* Master the landscape. Keep a firm grasp on the personas that comprise our audience and the business units that serve them
* Build trust-based relationships. Forge strong connections within our team and gain the confidence of stakeholders by providing copy that hits the mark on creative and business goals
* Engage our clients. Concept, ask questions, offer insight, dig deeper, present and upsell our services to our internal clients
* Hone your craft. Use best practices and data-driven feedback to evolve and perfect your message
* Stretch. Take calculated creative risks to engage new audiences, extend our reach, and generate leads for the business

Our writers play a strategic part in evolving and championing the Gartner brand voice. Reporting to the Director, Content Strategy, this role collaborates with designers, editors, project directors, our multimedia production team and internal stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

You'll excel in this role if you can:

Job Requirements

* Education: You have a bachelor's degree or higher in English, journalism or communications
* Experience: You have five or more years as a professional copywriter — preferably for an agency or in-house team — with an emphasis on video and digital (B2B background is a big plus)
* Mental drive: You're intellectually curious, able to absorb and translate new material quickly and are a natural strategist
* Business acumen: You're passionate about the connection between words, customer behavior and business outcomes
* Portfolio: You're an avid marketer with a balanced selection of video, digital and print samples and can demonstrate how your work has helped drive results
* Organizational skills: You thrive in a fast-paced, creative environment and can transition easily between multiple projects, managing them (and your time) from start to finish
* Positive attitude: You're a team player and problem solver. Collaboration, flexibility and a cheerful disposition come naturally to you
