We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced Sr SEM/PPC Manager to join our team.

Job Description

Guidebook is seeking an enthusiastic and analytical manager for our advertising programs -- PPC, display, social media and other online programs. You'll be a key member of the marketing team, and help design, orchestrate and deliver these programs as well as measure and report the outcomes and success metrics. You'll work closely with marketing and sales leadership, sales and marketing operations, and others to deliver a range of paid media campaigns, including SEM/PPC, display, social and retargeting, with the goals to increase conversions, optimize for target CPA goals, and efficiently increase leads for Guidebook's mobile app platform. You will provide strategic insight on campaigns, as well as improve internal processes and structure.

Responsibilities

* Planning, strategic development and tactical execution of all paid campaigns including PPC, display, social, retargeting and other programs
* Negotiating with media outlets for newsletter placements, webinars and other paid programs that further extend the company's online presence and generate interest in, and leads for, Guidebook
* Deep analysis of campaign performance using Google Analytics, Wordstream, Salesforce and Marketo
* Developing advertising creative and landing pages in collaboration with other members of the marketing team
* Ownership of program optimization and budget allocation
* Collaborating across functions to deliver an effective campaign strategies and plans to meet the business objectives in the enterprise, corporate / SMB and education markets.
* This role requires a creative mindset: you'll work with a range of constituencies to gather requirements and devise plans to achieve business goals. As programs progress, you'll then optimize the path to conversion.
* Measurement and optimization of the program will be required on a regular and ongoing basis

Requirements:

* BA/BS or equivalent working experience
* 5-7 years experience in a demand generation / paid program management role
* Ability to analyze and optimize programs
* Experience with Wordstream, Wordpress, Google Analytics, Marketo and Salesforce
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to clearly identify trends and create programs that exploit the opportunities presented
* Collaborative approach and track record of working with members of the marketing team, sales organization and product management groups
* Ability to think strategically, with exceptional attention to detail
* Ability to execute, focusing on key deliverables and must-meet deadlines
* Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously so that "balls are not dropped"
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, startup environment
