Reporting to the Director of Strategic Accounts, this individual is responsible for key marketing efforts related to Target and other assigned accounts, working with the account team, HQ Customer Marketing, and various analytical sources to develop programs. They are responsible for penetrating top retailers' marketing and ecommerce departments.

* Deliver coordinated sales and trade marketing programs to the customer, maximizing category and customer growth
* Works with headquarter-based Customer Marketing, Sales Teams and Brokers in the evaluation, implementation and execution of effective promotional strategies and product launches.
* Stays current on category trends and identifies opportunities for profitable growth
* Partners with Category Management to build promotional space during program implementation
* Evaluates events execution and ROI and submits recommendations to the account team for future enhancement/improvement
* Develop relationships with key customer decision-makers to favorably influence and enhance company's competitive position
* Penetrates the Marketing and Ecommerce departments within assigned retailer
* Provides input to the development of the annual Retailers Joint Business Plan
* Attends monthly Account Buyer meetings as they pertain to the CMM role
* Attends Customer Marketing monthly calls and annual meetings to enhance knowledge of shopper marketing and consumer trends
* Provides input and insights during the annual KAP process
* Assist in managing 3rd party relationships
* Acts as "voice of the shopper" by providing shopper insights and opportunities to retail account and brand teams; represents the needs of the shopper and the customer
* May be responsible for assigned initiatives, projects, or subject matter expert roles. For example, leading item launch projects, partnership ventures, or acting as a lead contact for third party partners
* Bachelor's Degree in relevant discipline, with MBA / MS preferred
* 5-7 years of Target experience in account management, category management, or trade marketing
* Knowledge of brand/category portfolio and retail category dynamics
* Ability to analyze and interpret promotion results using a variety of data
* Outstanding problem solving and project management skills
* Strong written/verbal communication and presentation skills
* Ability to lead teams and projects to deliver against commitments
* Knowledge of syndicated data sources and panel information
* Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
* Ability to function within a matrix organization
* Superior interpersonal and influencing skills
