The Email Marketing Manager is responsible for managing the development and implementation of email marketing programs to drive brand awareness, client acquisition and retention for U.S. Bank Wealth Management business lines. This position manages the distributed sending (advisor 1:1) email program integrated with Salesforce CRM as well as the centralized, trigger based email campaigns. This person must have a passion for building and continually pushing the Wealth Management email program to increase engagement during the customer journey and drive revenue.The individual collaborates with colleagues on the Wealth Management marketing team, email marketing team and Wealth Management product team and business lines.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop roadmap for growing Wealth Management email marketing programs including centralized, trigger based campaigns based on a client journey scenario and to advisor 1:1 email
* Manage advisor email program and coordinate centralized email campaigns
* Collaborate with content marketing team to create monthly campaigns for advisor program
* Lead quality control for all aspects of email communications including links, email and landing page content and subject lines
* Create, format, and modify emails using HTML
* Review and proof all emails to ensure clear communications and brand consistency
* Create email reporting dashboards analyzing campaign performance in order to provide actionable recommendations and deliver continuous improvements to the email program
* Support all training efforts, especially as it pertains to onboarding new advisors
* Maintain project status on advisor program rollout and ongoing campaign calendar
* Contribute to the overall success of the email marketing program by staying on top of email marketing channel best practices, trends, innovative ideas
* Work with Compliance to ensure all campaign content and disclosures are approved

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or equivalent
* 3-5 years of experience strategizing and designing email marketing campaigns in a B2C environment with focus on lead nurturing and conversion
* Experience with email and marketing automation platforms required -- Exact Target, Marketo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Adobe Marketing Cloud/Campaign preferred
* Salesforce CRM experience desired
* Knowledge of best practices in email design, email delivery and email customer engagement
* Strong writing, proofreading and editing skills with a keen attention to detail
* Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
* A self-starter with minimal need for day-to-day direction
* Excellent team player who can take work direction from multiple individuals
* General working knowledge of HTML code is required
* Familiarity with A/B testing methodologies
* Exceptional proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word & PowerPoint
