Planning & Change Delivery
The purpose of Planning & Change Delivery is tohelp shape the Portfolio by driving alignment to Strategy and Value, facilitatediscovery and solidify Change Definition, manage bank-wide capacity planningand prioritization, Lead the quality delivery of bank-wide and technologychange, and define organizational change methodology and governance model.
Overall purpose of role:
o The Planning and Change Delivery Project Manager Senior isresponsible for the planning, execution, control and completion of multipleprojects or a single program of great complexity.
o Projects will be primarilyOperations & Strategy focused, large scale technology/business projectsworking across multiple areas of the organization (e.g. Marketing, Finance,Technology, Customer Care, Credit, Collections, Bank Ops, Fraud, etc.) and maybe at various geographic locations.
Key Accountabilities and Skills required:
This section should include:
o Keyspecific accountabilities.
o Organize and schedule project teammeetings
o Coordinate overall projectdocumentation across all bank functions including requirements, meetingagendas, meeting minutes, weekly status reports, etc.
o Create and update project plans. Track upcoming deliverables and ensurecompletion of project milestones and tasks.
o Update budget tracking sheet andmonitor forecast vs. actuals.
o Responsible for the delivery ofprojects on-time, within budget and with quality.
o Performs daily administrative tasks includingtime management, training and other duties as required.
o Ensures projects are completedaccording to time and budget schedules, and that objectives conform to line ofbusiness' overall standards, operations objectives, user requirements andclient's needs.
o Stakeholdermanagement and leadership.
o Provide current status and updates onprograms as requested with executive management, partners and internal projectteams
o Ensure that Key Measures of Success andBenefits are quantifiable and measurable post implementation
o Responsible for identifying and implementingcontinuous improvement and best practices in the project life cycle within andacross industry segments.
o Decisionmaking and problem solving.
o Defines problems/needs and solutionsinvolving substantial latitude in course of action.
o Resolves project conflicts withaffected management.
o Riskand Control: All Barclays colleagues have to ensure that all activities andduties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements,Enterprise Wide Risk Management Framework and internal Barclays Policies andPolicy Standards
YourSkills and Qualifications will include
* Basic Qualifications
o Bachelor's degree or equivalent
o 5 years project management experience, supporting clients.
o 1 –3 years of demonstrated cross-functional program managementexperience.
* Preferred Qualifications
o Experience working on technology/operations integration projectsdesired with knowledge and adherence to Agile/SDLC process and methodology
o Experience in managing partners/vendors.
o Project/strategic planning and business background withunderstanding of assigned areas of responsibility
o Ability to work independently, multitask and react in a fast-pacedorganization
o Ability to build strong working relationships with keystakeholders
* Demonstrated leadershipskills
* Proven ability inAdvanced Business Analysis, Problem Analysis & Resolution
* Computer Fluency- MSProject, Excel, Visio, Access, Power Point.
* Demonstrated organizationand prioritization skills.
* Demonstrated advancedwritten and verbal communication skills
* Demonstrate analytical,problem solving and planning skills
* Demonstrated ability inbudget tracking and analysis
* Process oriented with astrong attention to detail and focus on controls
* Sense of urgency as wellas ability to organize, prioritize and manage personal work
