Job Summary

As a member of the marketing team, the person in this key role will be responsible for managing our B2C email marketing program. Your goal will be to drive increased leads, increased conversion and increased revenue through smart, innovative and engaging email campaigns. Leveraging our email platform (Adobe Campaign) and working closely with internal partners and external vendors, your role will include the development and execution of our customer engagement and lead nurturing strategy. This role will report to the VP of Digital Marketing and have regular interaction with the CEO and CMO.

Responsibilities

* Design and execute email marketing campaigns to support business goals including engagement, reengagement, promotional sales, booked customers communication and lead nurturing
* Manage day-to-day relationship with external vendors and consultants
* Report on campaign performance including lead generation, conversions rates, segment performance and content performance
* Identify opportunities to improve and streamline the email process
* Devise and execute test strategies including A/B and multivariate tests for segments, creative, call to action, subject line, etc.
* Manage email database hygiene, working closely with the CRM team
* Improve and automate email campaign deployment using Adobe Campaign
* Partner with others in the marketing team to shape content strategy, asset requirements, promotional messaging, and integration of a communication strategy across the website and social media
* QA email campaigns to ensure quality execution

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience

* Bachelor's degree is required; Masters or advanced degree a plus
* 4-6 years of email marketing experience, preferably hands on experience with digital marketing tools such as Adobe Campaign, or similar marketing automation technologies.
* Strong HTML and/or SQL skills strongly desired
* Excellent MS Excel and data handling skills with the ability to analyze, draw conclusions and act upon learning
* A solid understanding digital marketing, best practices, and testing protocols
* Exceptional understanding and adherence to business processes
* Ability to independently manage workload to meet day-to-day and long-term objectives
* Understanding of lead scoring and customer journey mapping
* Ability to collaborate and work cross-functionally in a fast paced and dynamic environment
* Expertise in project management, planning and organizing
* Strong communication skills (verbal and presentation)
* Travel industry experience a plus
