Position Summary

This Marketing Project Manager position willoversee key marketing vehicles including catalogs, assume responsibility fortracking flyer performance and making optimization recommendations (direct mailand digital flyers), and implementing processes and tools that help driveeffectiveness and efficiency within the Marketing team. The MarketingOperations Project Manager will lead the monetization initiative for boxinserts via Staples fulfillment centers, work cross-functionally to ensureproper set-up of marketing materials, manage inventory tracking anddistribution via Fulfillment Centers, and assist in annual budget allocationplanning

Primary Responsibilities

* Manage relationships betweenmerchandising, agency partners, marketing data & insights, and marketingpartners to facilitate development and execution of all SBA catalogs
* Oversee catalog and flyer (DMand digital) budgets to ensure SBA has optimized dollars against each channel,and is effectively driving sales and profitability
* Understand customer lifecycle marketingapproach and formulate catalog and flyer recommendations accordingly
* Identifytesting opportunities within each channel based on insights and campaign goals
* Establish efficient processesfor catalogs that this position or another team executing can follow
* Stay up-to-date of bestpractices in the B2B catalogs and direct mail & digital flyers
* Make optimizationrecommendations that impact go-forward strategies for each channel, and – inpartnership with other marketing vehicle owners – optimize planning processesto ensure campaign alignment
* Identify monetizationopportunities for box inserts, and partner with internal and externalstakeholders to execute
* Build relationships withcross-functional teams throughout the organization to find new and innovativeways to expand operational support
* Initiate and drive internalproduction of all catalogs, partnering with cross-functional stakeholders toplan and execute
* Develop strategic marketingbriefs for catalog covers and institutional pages, coordinate marketing ads,identify and recommend vehicle distribution plans
* Oversee operational processesincluding auto distribution, customer enrollment, sku set up, and inventorymanagement
* Own and maintain relevantcampaign and vehicle request forms
* Offer strategic guidance andcustomer-centric insights in weekly email creative review meetings
* Partner with marketing analyticsteam to understand effectiveness of catalogs, box inserts and flyers (directmail and digital) and make optimization recommendations that impact go-forwardstrategies
* Assist in planning budgetallocation for SBA marketing department based on vehicle effectiveness andconsidering fixed costs, and partnering with Marketing Coordinator to report onbudget status each period to key stakeholders
* Interpretcatalog and flyer (DM and Digital) metrics and deliver insights to marketingpartners and stakeholders on a regular basis
