Lead Agilent's Strategic Marketing initiative for the Academic and Government space in our applied markets. With a focus on Food, Environmental, Energy & Chemical and Materials you will work collaboratively across multiple organizational boundaries to drive growth for Agilent with our Academic and Government customers.

In this role the successful candidate will:

Collaborate within a matrix organization to build the global A&R program. Work in tandem with our University Relations group along with our Life Sciences Academic & Government group to translate market dynamics, trends, and needs into actionable plans and marketing programs.

Be responsible for increasing our reach and market share through a focus on field alignment & engagement. Aid in establishing sales goals and metrics to achieve greater than market growth and increased coverage and focus on Tier 1 accounts.

Drive and coordinates development of marketing materials and campaigns for demand generation

Support the Strategic Plan of Record process that aligns product line development with segment growth solutions targets.

Geographical Location: US based with a preference for Northern California

Qualifications: • 10 years (+) experience in a senior marketing position focused on delivering solutions academic and government segments

* Experience coordinating and working with sales organization to meet demand generation and training targets
* Experience working effectively in a highly matrixed organization across multiple geographic locations.
* Bachelors or Master Degree in Marketing or the Sciences or equivalent work experience
* Demonstrated strong management and leadership skills in implementing program/organization strategies
