We are looking for a passionate, results-driven, highly motivated, creative marketer who will play a critical role in driving sales and brand awareness by developing and implementing specific marketing strategies for the Office Product Industry (Independent Dealers and Wholesalers) and Food, Drug & Mass Merchandise. The Customer Marketing Manager will be responsible for identifying client needs, strategizing and executing marketing plans and supporting digital marketing and e-commerce promotional efforts, specific to private label brands supported by Domtar's National brands.

This person will be responsible for partnering with Brand Marketing, Marketing Services, Sales Operations and the sales account managers for the above channels and will work to build relationships with the channel customers.

Job Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

* Develop, execute and articulate on the value proposition and key marketing messaging for the channel.
* Support and collaborate with sales teams to deliver, execute and measure a strategic marketing plan for assigned channels.
* Support customers' omni-channel marketing efforts with ecommerce marketing strategies to drive sales and increase customer engagement and loyalty in assigned channel.
* Make category management recommendations to optimize performance of product offering, such as optimal SKU assortment, merchandising and shelf/catalog layout.
* Identify marketing opportunities by providing marketing trends, product gap analysis and competitive analysis reports for internal and customer review.
* Manage and facilitate private label programs to help our customers build their brand.
* Maintain and utilize knowledge of technical specifics for product lines sold into assigned channel to enable effective marketing programs and creative execution.
* Deliver several key marketing projects across the range of the marketing mix for assigned channel (including, but not limited to marketing collateral, selling tools, training, tradeshows, marketing insights, digital marketing, website, etc).
* Manage partnerships and projects with a variety of internal and 3rd party vendors.
* Understand changing and differing priorities depending on channels and how these impact marketing plans.
* Establish specific goals for tradeshows and events and develop metrics to gauge success; will also attend and support tradeshow efforts.
* Analyze and communicate about channel and customer specific promotional programs, implementing best practices in future initiatives to achieve maximum returns.
* Conduct analysis and periodic reviews of Domtar's value proposition for assigned channel, competitive landscape, customers and consumer trends to enhance Domtar's brand equity and market position.

Key Skills:

* Digital marketing expertise working with ecommerce techniques integral to shopper's purchasing process.
* Good communicator at all levels of organization, in both written and verbal formats.
* Strong analytical skills and problem solving ability.
* Strong ability to manage deadlines in a dynamic fast-paced work environment for multiple ongoing initiatives and projects.
* Keen attention to detail with proven responsibility for multiple, multi-touch marketing initiatives.
* Proven cross-functional team leadership experience.
* Proficiency in use of customer analytics and insights for strategies a plus.
* Ecommerce experience who has worked with retailers and their ecommerce platform.

Position Requirements

* BS/BA required in marketing, sales, business administration or related field.
* 7+ Years' Experience in marketing with demonstrated effectiveness.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) Outlook preferred but not required.
* Excellent and compelling presentation skills; has developed and presented to large client groups.
* Successful project management experience.
* Demonstrated experience and knowledge of marketing, sales, and business processes; experience with Private Label business/marketing a plus but not required.
* Direct experience in consumer products, large retailing or Office Supply.
