We're seeking a Digital Cross Channel Media Planner to join our team and help build upon our long history that reflect our performance driven, always-optimizing approach to digital marketing.

Our planners work across all media channels (Affiliate Marketing, display advertising (RTB), mobile advertising and all Biddable advertising), if you have planning experience in one channel, we are willing to train the right candidate in the other channels.

The role will require you to take a hands-on attitude, be highly organized and be able to work under pressure with the ability to meet tight deadlines. You must also possess the flexibility to work well on your own as well as within teams.

You will have a responsibility to understand the digital landscape and must have experience planning, trafficking, implementing & optimizing digital media.

Role Responsibilities

Candidate must have the ability to demonstrate a core understanding of at least one of these media channels, Affiliate Marketing, display advertising (RTB), mobile advertising, all Biddable advertising and the systems and technologies associated with delivering these channels.

Media Management

* Manage media and account outputs relating to planning, trafficking, implementation, deployment and reporting of client campaigns
* Follow the media planning process to ensure:
* media plans and recommendations integrate multiple media channels including display, paid social, RTB, PPC & Affiliate
* proactive development of media programs to increase agency billings and client ROI
* best use of audience, inventory and technology across all channels
* providing strategic thinking behind ad placement, rates and response projections of the campaign
* use of best practices
* Create, manage and optimize campaigns across a variety of channels to improve overall performance against pre-determined benchmarks on an ongoing basis.
* Be able to respond to client briefs, focusing on defining the optimal channel mix, drafting accurate ROI projections and effective tactics
* Ensure defined campaign objectives are met in accordance with campaign budgets
* Negotiate and buy media as per media plans
* Work with and utilize third party ad- serving tools to traffic the campaign for launch.
* Complete post campaign case study analysis, recap of performance & learnings as well as recommendations for future initiatives
* Compile all key delivery information to ensure proper reconciliation of delivered activity and booked activity for invoicing purposes
* Liaise with publishers, third party ad serving solutions and technical advisors on any campaign technical problems and identify & recommend resolutions to challenges
* Oversee multiple campaigns, troubleshoot problems and provide Quality Assurance including compliance and fraud protection
* Execute paid placements on affiliate websites
* Develop and send affiliate communications and newsletters
* Represent clients at industry events


* Ability to analyze & report data on a weekly/bi-weekly/monthly & ad-hoc basis

Planning & Strategy

* Be able to recommend strategies for improvement & growth to internal teams and clients
* Support Client Services, Media Directors and Director of Planning on the development of clients' media roadmaps
* Manage the forecasting of media investment and targets across all clients, working with Client Services, Media Directors and Director of Planning to manage quarterly & yearly budgets and targets
* Understand client goals and how to maximize success through tactical strategies and technologies.
* Work with Client Services developing and presenting strategies and status updates to clients
* Effectively communicate processes and tactics to clients and peers.


* Finger on the pulse on latest developments within the industry – technology, media owner, campaigns, etc.
* Independently research new areas of the market or areas of opportunity and present these to the team, staying ahead of the curve.
* Brainstorm/research targeting and copy ideas for specific campaigns.
* Identify and recruit new affiliates and improve performance of existing affiliate relationships
* Deepen relationships with key technology, data and media partners ensuring we are at the forefront of new initiatives and opportunities
* Develop, execute and test across campaign variables that create client-specific insight and feed future successions of testing.
* Create, execute, manage, analyze & distribute special projects (i.e. annual global survey on industry insights)

Qualifications & Skills Required

* Minimum of 2 -3 years of experience in Digital Marketing working with digital media within an agency with a focus on performance based advertising.
* Proven experience managing budgets and clients with multiple stakeholders and budget holders.
* Excellent presentation (verbal and written) and strong numerical skills, client facing experience a plus.
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent
* A strong business acumen; you can demonstrate where you have used data driven insights to achieve business goals with integrated campaigns for your clients
* High competency in Word, PowerPoint and Excel
* Working with a team to jointly manage client expectations
* Exceptional time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects at once
* Proactive style of identifying and anticipating potential challenges and a way to address them before they become a problem.
* Experience working with various media technologies & platforms (i.e. CJ, Impact Radius,
* DCM, Google, Bing, Brandwatch, etc.)
* Experience with design software a plus. (i.e. Photoshop, Dreamweaver, InDesign, etc.)
* Google certifications a plus. (Analytics, AdWords & Google Shopping)
* Social listening a plus.
