The Digital Marketing Manager develops digital marketing strategies and tactics as part of an integrated marketing and media plan to support overall Papa John's marketing goals and objectives. These strategies and tactics may include SEM, SEO, display advertising, digital partnerships, online video, Native Advertising, Social Media and other existing and new opportunities across web, mobile, and other developing channels.

* Lead projects and initiatives working with IS, other marketing disciplines, and outside marketing agencies, consultants and suppliers to effectively and efficiently improve digital marketing processes and consumer experiences, and increase return on marketing investments.
* Manage relationships with outside marketing agencies, consultants and suppliers that support our digital marketing initiatives, providing direction to reach desired performance results including project timing/scope and KPIs.
* Contribute to the creation of integrated advertising media programs leveraging both traditional and digital media, leveraging solid understanding of broader media principles across all media types.
* Provide consultation and guidance to specialized marketing disciplines, including field marketing, advertising, PR and analysis to optimize and execute programs.
* Ensure Papa John's brand attributes are incorporated into digital marketing recommendations
* Monitor competitive initiatives and remain up to date on digital marketing innovation.
* Assist, where necessary, to identify and solve any issues or bugs which arise during implementation or launch of a digital marketing initiative.
* Ensure project communication is occurring so that all impacted parties have correct and timely updates on project scope and status.
* Manage digital program expenditures to be within budget guidelines and highlight funding enhancements as needed.
* Use Google Analytics and other available digital metrics and project specific metrics to work with IS to optimize consumer digital eCommerce, and optimize promotional experiences and maximize return on marketing investments.
* Provide recommendations based on the analysis on improvements to digital marketing and eCommerce initiatives to improve customer experiences, and increase transactions and customer loyalty.
* Work closely with the Marketing Research & Analysis team to ensure alignment with analytics best practices, and best use of Papa John's analytics resources.
* Create and manage the production and distribution of dashboards and standard reports and analysis from varied data sources for presentation to key stakeholders.



* Self starter with excellent project management skills
* Ability to manage details while maintaining a broad perspective on overall business goals
* Strong analytical skills and metrics measurement background
* Ability to write compelling ad copy as needed


* Bachelor's Degree in marketing, business or related field
* 6+ years of digital marketing experience with B2C eCommerce organizations with an emphasis on programmatic campaigns, paid search, SEO, and online video.
* Experience in and understanding of broader media principles across digital and traditional media types.
* Experience managing vendor relationships
* Experience managing budgets
* Experience in QSR or Franchise-based industry a plus
* Google Adwords experience required, Certification a plus
* Google Analytics experience required, Certification a plus
* Experience with a DMP is a plus
* Third-party Ad Server management experience desired
