Position Summary

The shopper in-store marketing leader plays a critical role in helping shoppers by ensuring our communications and marketing strategies engage shoppers at the right moment, with the right message along their path to better health.

This role will partner within marketing and across retail business teams to ensure owned marketing vehicles and messages are prioritized against business deliverables (size of prize) and shopper needs. This role will facilitate a cross-retail marketing planning process starting at the annual budget season working with finance, marketing, and advertising to develop a framework for prioritization and recommendation of owned channel activation of major initiatives. This role will work to gain alignment on the plan from senior business leaders, and then collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure the plan is executed as designed while providing checkpoints throughout the year to ensure the plan continues to meet business and shopper needs.

Leads the planning and delivery of an owned asset plan as part of the broader marketing plan.

Leads quarterly checkpoint discussions with senior leaders during the forecast update process to ensure the plan continues to deliver on business objectives.

Develops an approach to partner with key marketing and advertising stakeholders to deliver an integrated omni-channel experience for shoppers.

Manages total retail activation calendar.

Ensures optimized use of in-store vehicles.

Facilitates planning and prioritization discussions with key stakeholders across owned channels including: marketing, advertising, digital, media, social, print (circular), and public relations ensuring prioritized, integrated plans.

Facilitates a seasonal audit process to identify and adjust plans based on competitive activity and shifts in shopper behavior.

Partners with retail operations to ensure in-store marketing plans are balanced against total store workload.

Partners with procurement to ensure consistent execution of owned assets in-store

Accountable for the master marketing store version lists and print production execution in each version

Utilizes customer insights to proactively monitor customer behavior and when necessary proactively identifies opportunities.

Manages and develops direct reports.

Preferred Qualifications

Master's Degree

Required Qualifications

5+ years of marketing experience with a strong foundation of business, retailer, and consumer understanding.

3+ years cross-functional leadership experience.

3+ years of project management experience.

3+ years of project management experience.

Proven ability to collaborate, impact and influence senior leaders and peers within a large matrixed organization.

Naturally curious individual who proactively seeks out solutions to current problems or those not yet identified.

Self-motivated, high capacity individual who can function and win in a demanding, performance-driven environment.

Excellent communication skills that can be effectively articulated in both written and oral forms across a diverse audience base.

Creative problem solver who can incorporate new learnings into existing plans and act decisively and independently.

Strong PC knowledge including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Bachelor's Degree Required

Travel required: up to 20%
